The decor was okay, the foodtag for the rojak was hand written, all the (V) was handwritten as well and the fish food tag was handwritten as well. One of the setup guys wearing slippers and none of them wearing gloves. DIY rojak, came as compound salad, instead of condiments in individual bowl, redelivery came at 1pm.
Thank you for supporting our Deepavali lunch event, here with our feedback: • Poor Festival Setup: Despite clear instructions and sample references, the decoration did not reflect the Deepavali theme, which was a key expectation, the flower dull, lifeless & really disappointing! • Food Display & Labelling: Desserts were mixed with main dishes, it’s display between briyani rice and tandoori roti, & your staff is not clear which labels to display with the food and we have to get support from our Indian colleagues to identify the food and delaying the start time. • Burnt Roti: Several Tandoori rotis were overcooked & burnt on one side. These were placed at the bottom of the tray, making the issue visible only when picked up with tongs, this should have been screened before display and this is really disappointed to see it, refer to the picture given. • Dessert Quality: The Gajar Ka Halwa was requested with reduced sugar 25%, but it was still overly sweet, resulting in 80% of two platters being left untouched. • Samosa, Chicken Chettinad & South Indian Style Fish curry Quantity: Only two platters were provided, which was insufficient for the crowd. • Incident & Communication: The Fish curry was drop from the trolley and spilled on our newly renovated vinyl flooring while delivery, but no update has been provided as of 25th October, we have to spend time to follow up through CaterSpot to Island Catering. • Manpower & Setup Flow: The senior staff from Island Catering appeared visibly stressed, likely due to a dhal Makhni spill incident & the need to continuously guide the inexperienced helpers. As a result, we had to step in to support the setup process, including our management. • Food Portioning: Protein portions were limited, while biryani and roti were over-supplied without sufficient side dishes, leading to significant leftovers. We hope this feedback helps improve future events, especially those celebrating cultural significance.
Unfortunately the delivery was received over an hour late and by the time it was set up was closer to 90 minutes late. Disappointing as we were having a special event in the office

I had an excellent experience with Island Catering for a mini buffet lunch! Despite placing my order just 24 hours before the event, they delivered almost an hour earlier than the stated time, which was impressive. The food was delicious overall, and even though it was a mini buffet setup (drop-off only), the delivery person went the extra mile by spreading out a tablecloth for the curry dishes we ordered—a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend their service for seamless and reliable catering!

Everyone really liked the food. We have opted for North-Indian cuisine for buffet and we can say that this is most authentic North-Indian cuisine food we had in while. Everything was just original in taste.
