Ordered the Sookii Nitsuke - Stew Pork Soft Bone Bento Box. The meat was tough.
The pork and beef were well marinated and cooked long enough as it was tasty and soft. Most employees love it. Will be back!
Nice food. We are going to have it again next Friday :)
Family Japanese restaurant, good food and friendly service
Clean environment. Yummy food. Sashimi and Chirashi don tastes real fresh. The Unagi roll tastes yummy as well. ⚠️: Food is a little on the pricey side though. Only issue was we had to change seats in the midst of our meals because there were water droplets on the air conditioner and we were worried that the water will drip onto our food. Staff attendants should be more wary of such issues prior to seating their customers. But on the overall, would come back again.
Nice restaurant.Love the Ramen in the kids meal.
Hoshigaoka grandstand at turf city Bukit Timah is the usual place for me when I crave for a casual and homely Japanese Teishoku meal (which is very often, hehe). The tori (chicken) nanban is consistent in quality in all my visits and always a must-have supplementary dish, along with a seasonal special or a regular teishoku set meal (such as the salmon nitsuke). The daily lunch set is good value for money too!
Friendly staff and relaxed environment.
This is a great lunch place to grab a decent Japanese meal at a reasonable price. Service was prompt and polite. The lunch set was great value and other sushi dishes too. Value for money dining.
