Being peranakan myself, the food is amazingly good. Some of these dishes would do my grandma proud. The chef's are from Penang and whilst a bit different from the melaka style of food, it is no less palatable. Try the nyonya curry chicken, the pie tee, and fish maw soup. The wagyu rendang is a melt in your mouth affair.
The food is unbelievable. Price is comparable to many other peranakan restaurants on the island but by far, food is superior to the others I've tried. The Assam fish head curry is the star of the restaurant.
